The first big signing of the Monte McNair era is, well, big. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Sacramento Kings are signing Hassan Whiteside to a one-year contract.
Free agent center Hassan Whiteside has agreed to a one-year deal with the Sacramento Kings, sources tell ESPN.

Whiteside, a 31-year-old center from North Carolina, was drafted by the Kings in with the No. 33 overall pick in 2010. In his two seasons in Sacramento, Whitside appeared in just 19 games.
