The Kings announced swingman Joe Johnson had been waived Sunday. The Kings reached an agreement on a buyout with Johnson after he was acquired from Utah as part of the trade that sent George Hill to Cleveland.
Johnson will sign with the Houston Rockets after clearing waivers, according to multiple reports.
The Kings have 14 players under contract with the transaction, giving them the ability to add another free agent this season.
