The Sacramento Kings enter Monday’s game as losers of 3 straight games, and 4 of their last 5. The team has four win and seven losses in the month of December. After a promising November, frustrations are growing. After the pleasant surprise of last season, hopes were high that the Kings could be a competent, normal, semi-successful NBA team this season. Instead, whatever steps forward from last year have been met with steps backward.
It’s only December, and a couple wins could easily shift the fan sentiment again, but I’m struggling to remember the last time the fan base felt this apathetic toward the team.
