Long have I hated the Los Angeles Lakers. We all have. Some of us transplants from other areas who grew to love the Kings at a time where beating the Lakers was possible, some born and raised in the basement watching the Kings struggle for years to climb out, either pre-Kings heyday or post - it really doesn’t matter. The Lakers have always been there to gloat, to rub it, to finish every discussion with whatever the decade equivalent was to SIXTEEN CHAMPIONSHIPS BRO!!! Their losses were twice as nice to see, their successes twice as painful.
