The Sacramento Kings have traded Skal Labissiere to the Portland Trail Blazers for Caleb Swanigan, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. This is a low stakes move for both sides, essentially a change of scenery for both players.
Swanigan is a power forward who has looked good in Summer League but hasn’t made a meaningful contribution for the Blazers.
Skal showed flashes of brilliance (we’ll always remember his game against Phoenix), but hasn’t been able to earn a consistent spot in the Kings rotation.
