On Wednesday, the Sacramento Kings hosted a VSP Eyes of Hope Donation Drive and blew away previous records for eyeglass donations with a total of 2,110 people helped. Kings and VSP employees contributed hundreds of gently used eyeglasses throughout the preceding week, which was then significantly augmented by fan donations the night of the game.
This was the 5th VSP Eyes of Hope event hosted by the Kings and fans made the last drive night at Sleep Train Arena the best one yet! Even Slamson got into the fun by sporting his own eyeglasses during the game.
VSP Vision Care recently celebrated a big milestone of providing no-cost eye care and eyewear for 1 million people in need.
