Kings score 9 points in the first quarter, but JaKarr Sampson, veterans spark rally

The Kings overcame their worst scoring quarter of the season and being booed to rally from 21 points down and defeat the Chicago Bulls 104-98 on Monday night at Golden 1 Center.

The Kings trailed 28-9 at the end of the first quarter and left the court to boos – understandable, considering the Bulls started the game without two starters (Kris Dunn, Lauri Markkanen). Starting center Robin Lopez was ejected in the second quarter.

The Kings bounced back, outscoring the Bulls in every quarter the rest of the way to snap a two-game skid.

Bogdan Bogdanovic led the Kings (17-36) with 15 points.
