We wondered the other day when the Kings would begin to use their new “two-way contracts” and it seems they were thinking the same thing. The Kings have reportedly signed summer league standout Jack Cooley to one of those contracts, per Chris Reichert. While the Kings have not announced the news officially, other reporters have confirmed.
Cooley isn’t the most exciting prospect at 26 years old, but he showed in Summer League that he’s tough, got a nose for the ball, and even has some range. Cooley played four years at Notre Dame before going undrafted in the 2013 draft.
