As we head into the weekend, there is some news regarding the Sacramento Kings that may have gone unnoticed.
Terence Davis will not return to Sacramento
While it was already highly expected that guard Terence Davis’ time in Sacramento was over, the Kings officially renounced Davis’ rights Friday, according to Keith Smith. TD averaged 6.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1 assist per game during the 2022-23 NBA season, appearing in 64 games.
Sacramento seems to have parted ways with Davis after their drafting of guard Colby Jones, who looked comfortable during the Califonia Classic, signing EuroLeague MVP Sasha Vezenkov, and acquiring Pacers guard Chris Duarte.
