After playing some of their best basketball of the season, the Sacramento Kings are falling back to earth.
Newcome Terance Davis scored a career-high 27 points, but it wasn’t enough in a 129-128 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Kings put forth a valiant effort in the fourth quarter. They were down by 13 with less than seven minutes left, but when on an 11-0 run to cut the deficit to two with 2:42 remaining.
But the Bucks — who were missing reigning back-to-back NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo — kept Sacramento at bay the rest of the way and hung on for the win.
