Well, there it is. Following a pair of embarrassing losses on a home back-to-back Friday and Saturday night, the Sacramento Kings fired head coach Luke Walton as first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN on Sunday. Walton was hired by former general manager Vlade Divac and remained in the role once.
The Sacramento Kings fired coach Luke Walton on Sunday, sources told ESPN. Kings have lost seven of eight games and dropped to 6-11 on season – leaving them 12th in the Western Conference.

According to Wojnarowski, Walton’s assistant coach Alvin Gentry will serve as the Kings’ interim head coach.
