Losing happens in Vegas, so the Sacramento Kings should hope it stays there. They were blown out for the second time in three days, falling to the Denver Nuggets by the final score of 98-76.
The Kings were utterly outplayed on the perimeter. Sacramento shot 2-for-23 from behind the arc, while they allowed Denver to hit 12-of-29 3-point attempts. The Kings made 16-of-21 free throws but didn’t help their cause by losing the turnover battle 21-17, with a combined 11 between David Stockton and James Anderson.
In his second pro basketball game, Willie Cauley-Stein looked more comfortable on the floor.
