Kings collapse in Summer League game 4 loss, 83-67

The Sacramento Kings won’t repeat as Summer League champions after falling to the Golden State Warriors in game 4 by the final, 83-67.

Holding a 47-40 lead at half, the Kings’ offense imploded. Sacramento shot 1-for-18 from the floor and were outscored 20-4 in the third quarter. They weren’t helped by the absence of Willie Cauley-Stein, who missed most of the period after banging knees with Stefan Nastic.

The Kings never recovered from their third quarter meltdown. They were outscored 43-20 in the second half and shot 36.4 percent for the game.

In 20 minutes, Cauley was pedestrian statistically with six points and four rebounds but made an impact defensively with three blocks to show.
