Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic will have surgery to repair a slight tear of the medial meniscus in his left knee Tuesday, the team announced.
A "minimally invasive debridement procedure" will be performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and Bogdanovic is expected to make a full recovery, the team said.
The injury was discovered in an MRI after the season.
Bogdanovic averaged 11.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists in his rookie season with the Kings.
