The Sacramento Kings are acquiring Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb, Justin Holiday and a 2027 second-round pick from the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN on Tuesday.
It was previously reported that Haliburton and De’Aaron Fox were untouchable in trade negotiations, but it’s clear now that was just a leak to gain leverage in trade conversations. Haliburton, the No. 12 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has averaged 14.3 points, 7.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game this season.
