Kings 69, Lakers 75: Why’d they televise this one?

Preseason can be a mixed bag, but man was this an ugly game. Both teams failed to score 80 points at all, and the Kings managed just 69 (nice) on a putrid 31.3% from the field. The Lakers weren’t much better at 41.4% but they were able to hold the lead for pretty much the entire game.

Zach Randolph (16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists) and Garrett Temple (12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals) were the only Kings to finish in double digits. Only Z-Bo (7-15) and Vince Carter (3-4 from downtown) had anything close to good shooting nights for the Kings.
