The game started very sloppy, as neither team seemed fully ready for the early start, but the intensity and quality improved as the game went on. The Kings jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter, and held off the Clippers until late. In the closing minutes, the Kings played inspired defense and hit some key shots to secure a 112-103 victory.
