SALT LAKE CITY — The official start of NBA All-Star weekend for the Sacramento Kings came on Friday, as rookie Keegan Murray took to the floor in the Rising Stars game. The new format this year had four teams battling it out to see who can score 40 points first. It was an interesting style of game, but I also think it led to the lack of minutes for Murray throughout the night.
In game one, Murray played an impactful 6 minutes on the floor, where he would finish with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and most impressively, end the game by hitting a game-winning 3-pointer.
