The Kings assigned Justin Jackson, Malachi Richardson and Georgios Papagiannis to their G League affiliate, the Reno Bighorns, on Wednesday.
Jackson, the 15th overall pick in June’s NBA draft is averaging 6.3 points in 17 games, but he’s fallen out of the rotation over the last two weeks. He began the season starting at small forward but has not appeared in four of the last seven games.
Richardson is averaging 3.9 points in 12 games in his second season.
Richardson’s and Jackson’s playing time has suffered because of the depth at small forward and shooting guard.
