Jahmi’us Ramsey out at least 2-3 weeks with groin strain

The Kings announced Thursday that rookie Jahmi’us Ramsey has suffered a a left groin strain. Ramsey had an MRI to confirm the injury and will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks to determine his availability to return.

Ramsey has played 16 minutes thus far in his first season, but all of them have come in garbage time, per Cleaning the Glass. He hasn’t been a part of head coach Luke Walton’s rotation, so this won’t materially affect the way the Kings divvy up minutes for the foreseeable future.

Ramsey now joins DaQuan Jeffries on the shelf, who is four weeks away from being re-evaluated for his grade 3 left ankle sprain.
