With fans of all sports itching for some type of competition, some professional leagues are starting to use video games to scratch the itch. NASCAR has used iRacing (which has been very cool), and now the NBA is going to hold its own players-only tournament, and the Sacramento Kings have a representative.
Harrison Barnes will be one of 16 players competing in the “NBA 2K Players Tournament”, a single-elimination, March Madness-like event where players will compete for the chance to select a charity beneficiary for $100,000 in coronavirus relief aid. It will take place over the course of the next week, beginning on Friday at 7 PM, and will be broadcast on ESPN.
