This is such a wonderful quote. A perfect encapsulation of the click-enomics time that we find ourselves in. Was your tweet spicy/outlandish/extreme enough to go “viral”? No? Then stop wasting my time! Sports in particular is a very easy place to fall into this logical trap. Championship or bust! The Ring is the Thing! If that’s you, fine. The point of this isn’t to say there is a right way to be a sports fan, it’s to say that Kings fans are currently going through a particularly wonderful and often overlooked phase of being a sports fan.
