Kevin Durant had 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 112-96 victory over the Kings on Saturday at Golden 1 Center. Klay Thompson returned from a thumb injury to add 25 points for the Warriors (55-21).
Warriors guard Patrick McCaw was carried off the court on a stretcher after a hard fall with 41.8 seconds left in the third quarter. McCaw was in the air for a layup when Vince Carter made contact with his leg.
McCaw was taken to UC Davis Medical Center for evaluation.
Carter was assessed a flagrant one foul on the play.
