Cousins played 31 minutes, scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, but he dealt with back stiffness and was removed. James Ham of CSNBayArea.com confirmed the superstar would not return to the contest.
Injuries haven't been a foreign concept to Cousins over the past 12 months. A year after Cousins' 2014-15 campaign was cut short due to a litany of lower leg injuries, the big man dealt with a strained Achilles at the start of this season.
