The Sacramento Kings waived former Gonzaga Bulldogs guard David Stockton on Thursday, according to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.
Stockton, the son of former Utah Jazz star and NBA Hall of Famer John Stockton, scored four points on 1-of-7 shooting with five rebounds and four assists in three preseason games, according to CSNBayArea.com.
Despite being cut, Stockton's professional basketball days may not be behind him. James Ham of CSNBayArea.com reported Stockton could sign with the NBA Development League's Reno Bighorns.
