Dave Joerger was fired by the Memphis Grizzlies this past Saturday, but it didn't take him long to land a new gig.
According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, Joerger agreed Monday to a deal to become the new head coach of the Sacramento Kings. Wojnarowski reported Joerger's contract spans three years, with a team option for a fourth year, and pays him $4 million per season.
Sam Amick of USA Today confirmed the Kings' new coaching hire, as Joerger prepares to succeed George Karl.
