When the California Summer Classic began, I was ecstatic as a Sacramento Kings fans because I expected the purple and white to succeed. I mean, the Kings’ roster looked like the most talented group of guys out of the four teams competing in the league. And in my opinion, talent triumphs team chemistry when it pertains to summer league.
Although the group of young Kings was able to showcase flashes of their exciting potential, this last week was a failure for them overall. After three games, the team finished with a record of 1-2 and had a point differential of -22 against their opponents.
