As one of the top recruits coming out of high school, Jayson Tatum showcased what made him so highly touted in his lone season at Duke University.
Hailing from St. Louis, Tatum was at a premiere player at Chaminade College Preparatory School, sending the school to its second Missouri Class 5A State Championship. As a senior, Tatum averaged 29.5 points and 9.1 rebounds, while tallying six games where he scored 40 points or more.
His strong performances garnered several accolades, including the coveted Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2016. Additionally, Tatum was a key contributor during his time with the Team USA FIBA teenage competitions, where he collected three-consecutive gold medals from 2013-15.
