The Kings rookie recently visited a young Kentucky fan battling illness at his home.
11-year-old Toby Foster suffers from mitochondrial disease, an incurable disorder that causes a deficit in life-sustaining energy over time. Foster was set to attend the Calipari ProCamp in Cincinnati to see his favorite player, Willie Cauley-Stein, but was unable to make it as he became too ill.
A member of the ProCamp staff shared Toby’s story with Willie and the Kings rookie decided he wanted to pay his biggest fan a visit before leaving town.
“They were going to play video games,” Toby’s mom told Kentucky Sports Radio’s Mrs.
