That. Was. Incredible. The Sacramento Kings, despite trailing 104-89 with 6:30 remaining in the game, came back to beat the Los Angeles Lakers at the buzzer in one of the most exciting finishes on the season for the Kings.
Things ended how they started, fantastic, but it’s everything in between that was an issue for the Kings in this one. Despite opening the game to a 20-9 lead, the Kings trailed 34-32 at the half and couldn’t get any stops defensively or make their own shots.
The Sacramento Kings, for what it’s worth, actually took a 49-47 lead midway through the second quarter, but the Lakers went on an offensive tear and took a 67-61 lead going into halftime.
