In the first quarter of the Sacramento Kings’ home opener against the Utah Jazz, Buddy Hield made history, passing Peja Stojakoviu0107 as the franchise’s all-time 3-point leader.
Hield pulled up from about 28 feet in the final minute of the first quarter and absolutely buried it for the record.
Public address announcer Scott Moak announced the accomplishment following a timeout and Hield was given a nice round of applause by The Golden 1 Center crowd.
On Wednesday, Hield tied Stojakoviu0107’s record of 1070 three-pointers in the season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday and then hit number 1071 on Friday against the Jazz.
