After a successful gold medal run last summer, DeMarcus Cousins has started turning heads in Team USA Basketball, including that of head coach Mike Krzyzewski.
"We went a little big bigger last August and September, thinking we would need it, and we did against Serbia. We were down 15-5 and (Demarcus) Cousins comes in and turns the game around. That’s what we need to do, have guys who can come in and might be game changers,” said Krzyzewski to the Sacramento Bee’s Ailene Voisin.
Cousins, along with Kings teammate Rudy Gay, are currently in Las Vegas with 32 other NBA invitees to be evaluated by Team USA’s staff.
