‘Blackout’ Home Opener Details Emerge

For the third consecutive year, the Sacramento Kings will begin the regular season at home – the last that will take place at Sleep Train Arena – where the team has played for the past twenty-seven seasons.

Wednesday’s celebration of nearly three decades of basketball in the Natomas building will take place against the L.A. Clippers, with whom Sacramento holds a 112-83 all-time record.

The hometown squad will take the court in its alternate black uniforms, while fans will be provided with complimentary black T-shirts in support of the team’s “Blackout” Home Opener theme.
