It was no simple task, but a dominant second half of the season has helped the Reno Bighorns to clinch the first seed in the Western Conference for the first time in franchise history.
The Kings affiliate climbed out of a second-half deficit against the Idaho Stampede on Saturday night to claim a 116-113 victory in overtime.
This was Reno’s fifth-consecutive win and, without a doubt, the most significant of the season so far.
In addition to the top spot, the Bighorns also claimed the Pacific Division title, adding to their growing list of accomplishments this season.
