The Minnesota Timberwolves turned a close game into a blowout, using a 34-17 advantage in the quarter to coast to a 118-100 victory Monday night at Golden 1 Center.
The Kings (18-42) have lost four in a row and eight of 10.
All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves (38-26) with 26 points and 17 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins scored 22 points and Jeff Teague had 20 points and seven assists.
