NBA commissioner Adam Silver will announce today that Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will replace Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant in the NBA All-Star game.
Bryant was voted as a starter in the game by the fans, and Cousins failed to be voted in as a reserve by the coaches. Kobe won't be able to play in the game because of a torn rotator cuff that will end his season.
Cousins is averaging 23.8 points and 12.3 rebounds in 33.8 minutes per game this season.
