PISCATAWAY -- The game plan was simple the last time that Ross Douglas played linebacker.
It was Pee Wee Football, and his father was the coach.
"My pops used to blitz me every play," Douglas said. "I got really used to blitzing, so I kind of was a linebacker in Pee Wee. I played linebacker a little bit in middle school, but then I didn't really grow too much. I never really imagined (playing) it, but I'll do whatever is best for the team."
After the season-ending torn ACL suffered by strong side linebacker Tyreek Maddox-Williams, Rutgers needs Douglas more than ever in his first season as a linebacker.
