Gov. Chris Christie's two-day WFAN radio audition started and ended with Rutgers -- even if New Jersey's state university was noticeably absent during most of the nine hours of programming.
During the opening segment of Monday's show, Christie said, "Go Rutgers!" when co-host Evan Roberts pointed out that the governor was wearing a Rutgers shirt in studio.
Topics then changed to a range of professional sports until the final caller beat the buzzer with a Rutgers question
The question: Why don't New Jersey's top athletes in baseball, basketball and baseball stay home to play for Rutgers?
