Pat Hobbs is certainly getting an opportunity to make his mark as Rutgers athletics director.
Four months after hiring a football coach in his first week on the job, Hobbs will make the department’s No. 2 biggest hire as he conducts a search to replace fired men’s basketball coach Eddie Jordan.
This time, Hobbs has a little more experience and a much deeper Rolodex as he is no stranger to the hoops landscape from his time at Seton Hall.
