PISCATAWAY – This much is known about the Rutgers football spring game: There won’t be live hitting of the quarterbacks like at Michigan or a captain’s draft of teammates for split squads like at Pittsburgh.
Coach Kyle Flood is waiting for an injury update before deciding on the other parameters, though he is hopeful that he will have two mostly different rosters to compete against each other when spring practice culminates with the scrimmage at 7:30 p.m. Friday at High Point Solutions Stadium.
“We’re going to get together (Wednesday) afternoon and we’re going to look at what’s available to us,” Flood said.
