Offseason workouts have begun for Rutgers ahead of the start of spring practice, and they include early-morning mat drills inside the practice bubble next to High Point Solutions Stadium. And those early-morning mat drills, battling over a tire pull, provide themselves to clever videos like the one above, which turns a handful of mat drills into an old-school arcade video game with a take-off on the "Street Fighter" series.
In the package above, Rutgers defensive lineman Kevin Wilkins squares off against position mates Jon Bateky and Willington Previlon in a pair of mat drills, followed by two matchups between defensive backs Damon Hayes and Isaiah Wharton.
