PISCATAWAY — Rutgers coach Kyle Flood has already made it clear that he doesn't expect to name his starting quarterback until about 10 days into training camp this summer.
But that doesn't mean Flood wouldn't like to know where the pecking order stands after spring camp.
If he was hoping to make that determination off his team's most game-like scrimmage to date, it appears as if Flood will have to wait to see how the final week of spring camp plays out.
"We'll look at it on film,'' Flood said when asked to assess the quarterback play following a 101-play scrimmage that saw Chris Laviano and Hayden Rettig combine to complete 63.
