Scott Van Pelt is done with Rutgers.
The ESPN host (and Maryland graduate/superfan) says he's done betting on the Scarlet Knights and including them in his "Winners" segment after Rutgers failed - again - to cover a mammoth spread against a highly-favored opponent in last Saturday's 52-3 loss at No. 4 Ohio State.
"For as long as we do this show, no matter how long that might be," Van Pelt said in a good-natured jag, "I am never, ever, ever picking Rutgers in 'Winners.'"
The Scarlet Knights were underdogs by 33-36 points, depending on the sportsbook.
