New Jersey's Jabrill Peppers, a Heisman Trophy candidate and a two-way star for Michigan, did something new, even for him.
On Saturday, Peppers scored on a direct snap against Michigan State to tie the game, 7-7 -- diving for the pylon at the end of a 3-yard run.
Here's the AP game capsule:

Line: Michigan by 23½.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
Michigan lost to the rival Spartans last year on a wacky botched punt on the final play of the game — but even that might pale in comparison to what a loss this season would feel like.
