On Monday, Rutgers men’s basketball players Geo Baker and Myles Johnson appeared on MSNBC in an interview with Chris Jansing. They spoke about the changes in their daily lives as student-athletes during this time, the uncertainty of when and if the college basketball season will take place, as well as the possibility of playing in a bubble environment this winter.
As usual, Baker and Johnson represented Rutgers University and the basketball program extremely well. Both expressed hope to play, but also an understanding that the current situation with COVID-19 is bigger than sports itself. You watch their five-plus minute interview here.
