Over the past few years, there have been various top N.J. high school football recruits who ended up at either prep schools or junior college out of high school for an assortment of reasons. These particular players utilize post-graduate football to get to the level of play they feel they belong. They don't necessarily need huge statistical performances to ascend to FBS ball, as big numbers rare on the JUCO stage. But it's best that they start and through competition show they can hold up against guys at the highest level of play. Because there are lots of them at the junior college level, as well as prep, to a lesser extent.
