NEW YORK — Living among Mets, Yankees and Phillies fans at the Jersey Shore during the winter months, Todd Frazier gets traded hundreds of times every MLB offseason on sports talk radio channels, at boardwalk bars and even in his front yard.
“I hear that all the time, whether it’s my neighbor telling me or Joe Blow from Nutley, N.J.,” Frazier told Gannett New Jersey. “Every year since I’ve been up here it’s, ‘When are you coming to the Mets?’ I always tell them: One, it’s not my choice, and, two, I want to play for whatever team I’m on.
