There wasn't much that went right for Rutgers in the second half of its 54-44 win over Boston University Friday afternoon.
Don't tell that to Eugene Omoruyi.
Omoruyi, who carried Rutgers to the win over the final eight minutes of the game, finished with with a monster double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds.
His 17 rebounds, 13 of which came in that second half, was the most by a Rutgers player since Adrian Hill corralled 18 on March 3, 2007 against Notre Dame.
Omoruyi, in the heat of back-and-forth affair Friday, said he wasn't even aware of how many rebounds he was bringing in.
