Leave it to Jay Niemann to put in perspective why Rutgers weakside linebacker Trevor Morris has seemingly been involved in the majority of tackles for Rutgers the past two seasons.
"People talk about the (middle) linebacker being the bell-cow guy that racks up all the tackles and some cases that’s true and some cases that’s not,'' Rutgers' defensive coordinator said. "A lot of that has to do with how you shade your front, where your d-linemen line up, what you do with some of your movements as far as stunting the line.
