As the university's police department continues to investigate allegations of credit card fraud involving several players on the Rutgers football team, what's known is six Scarlet Knights aren't participating in training camp.
All are scholarship players, and head coach Chris Ash has conceded disciplinary measures — ranging from dismissals to suspensions — will likely be announced if the players are charged of criminal wrongdoing.
What's known is eight players are under investigation, according to Ash, and they all reside on the defensive side of the ball.
